It is impossible to provide an accurate cost estimate without knowing your goals for the web site. Actual prices quoted for any new project are based on an estimate of the time required to complete the project. To provide a rough estimate of the cost of the web site, we offer a free consultation to discuss your web site goals. In advance of this consultation, we provide a list of questions for you to review and answer (in writing), to help guide you in thinking about how a web site could best serve your clients and your business.

After this free consultation visit, you decide if you want to proceed with us. If so, we then provide to you a written Communications Brief...

Communication Brief

The Communications Brief is an overall analysis of how to develop the web site to meet your business goals, and contains these content areas:

• Project overview
• Short term goals
• Long term goals
• Description of the target audience
• Desired tone of the web site
• Details and assumptions
• Site specifications, to include technologies used
• Estimate of content areas
• Estimate of web design project cost
• Site maintenance options

Because of the time involved in preparation of the Communications Brief, there is a $240 charge for this service. Should you decide to hire us to design/redesign your web site, we will credit to you this $240 on the final bill (so that, in effect, the Communication Brief fee is refunded to you). Whether you hire us or not, the Communication Brief is yours to keep. It is a valuable tool for any business planning to develop an effective web site.

Web & Email Hosting

We offer hosting for your web site, and this includes hosting for email addresses that use your domain name. We also offer hosting for email only, for those businesses that do not have or desire a web site, but do want email addresses that reflect their business name (for example, JSmith @ MyBusiness.com).

Our clients share space on our Managed Virtual Server (MVS), a self-contained and isolated virtualized environment running its own operating system install, web server, mail server and other core services. Unlike shared hosting plans, with RF Web Design hosting you are not sharing core services with anyone else by our clients, and we manage our accounts very closely.

We offer three different hosting packages, depending on the size of your business and the amount of data storage you require for your web files and email accounts. The majority of our clients (business and individual) require only the RF Personal package:
